2. Purposes

The personal data of the user of this Website will be processed for the following purposes:

• To deal with requests for information and/or queries made by the User. The data processed for this purpose will be kept until the request for information and/or consultation has been answered and, after that, for the legally stipulated periods of conservation and prescription of responsibilities. The legal basis for the processing is: a) the consent of the User in the event that he/she uses the contact form on this Website; or b) the legitimate interest of OWL Metabolomics in responding to the User in the event that he/she does not use this form (sending spontaneous emails, telephone calls, sending written requests by post).

• To manage the selection processes for a job for which the User applies. The legal basis for this processing is the application of pre-contractual measures at the User’s request. In the event that the User is selected, his/her curriculum vitae will become part of his/her employment file and will be kept for as long as the employment relationship is maintained and, once it has ended, for the legally stipulated periods of conservation and prescription of responsibilities. In the event that the User is not selected, his/her CV will be deleted once the selection process has been completed.

In the event that the unsuccessful User wishes OWL Metabolomics to keep his/her curriculum for future selection processes, he/she must give his/her express consent to do so. In this case, the User’s curriculum will be kept for one year before being deleted. If after this period the User wants his/her curriculum vitae to continue to form part of the database, he/she must send it again updated to OWL Metabolomics.

3.Third party recipients

OWL Metabolomics may communicate the data to State Security Forces and/or the Courts and Tribunals that require them in the framework of an investigation, instruction or procedure. It will also be able to communicate the data to the following categories of data processors: Providers of electronic communications, office automation, hosting, housing, computer maintenance, management, accounting, auditing, consultancy and legal representation. Some of these data processors may be located outside the European Economic Area, in which case OWL Metabolomics will have adopted the appropriate data protection safeguards in advance.

4. Rights

Data subjects may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, object, as well as withdraw their consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing prior to its withdrawal, by sending their request to Rubió Metabolomics, S.L., Parque Tecnológico de Bizkaia, Edificio 502 Planta 0 – CP 48160 Derio (Bizkaia); or to the email address rgpd@owlmetabolomics.com. In any case, the data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the corresponding supervisory authority if they deem it appropriate.
